View from the Polish Amazon

Long, long, long ago...before this website was created... in a magical land where MySpace was king and cell phones were used for phone calls...I was fresh out of college, looking for a creative outlet and discovered Blogger. So I started writing in 2006 in a personal, non-published blog that was more of a journal than public profile.

I named it "View from the Polish Amazon." I thought that I was so clever, but in a crazy turn of life events, I stopped writing in 2013 and started a series of gratitude emails. I completely forgot about the posts until recently, which just goes to show you children that nothing on the internet is forgotten.

I've decided to publish some of those gems, citing the original date for reference. If able, I'll also try to use photos from that same year (thanks Google Photos). Perhaps this is the year that I get my online presence organized.

Seriously, who does that? Well, I do.

So here's the explanation:

I'm Polish.

I'm tall like an Amazon woman.

And this blog is from my point of view.
